Oliver and I spent most of the time in the car as it was a cold and wet weekend. It felt more like late fall than spring. We decided to move our travel trailer to the race track so we can have some place to hang out instead of the car.
Sunday was the first club race of the year and Chloe wanted to participate. Matt and Chloe left the house early in the morning and Oliver and I followed several hours behind. We got to see Chloe drive her new kart in the qualifying and both her races. She did great and improved her time by 10 seconds from Saturday. She's just getting started and we want her to focus on having fun. I am pretty certain that she had lots of fun as she ran all over the place with her new race pals.
I did manage to get a brief video of Chloe driving during qualifying.
Chloe had a podium finish in her first ever race. There were only three racers in her class which means everyone got a trophy! Pretty good stuff for your first race ever.
