We spent the 4th of July at the lake. It was overcast and we wore sunscreen but somehow we all got a little too much sun.
We came back home in the early evening just in time for our village's famous fireworks. It was Oliver's first time to see fireworks and we were curious to see his reaction. He seemed more interested in running around playing with the other kids that the big bangs and pops overhead. After about 10 minutes of fireworks he was ready to run and play again. He did watch the entire show though.
Me (with too much sun), Oliver and Chloe, waiting for the show to start. |
Watching the fireworks. |
Of course, they had to HAVE the light up swords being sold. It's not really about the fireworks, its about the cotton candy and glow sticks. |
