Taking a Breath

I believe we have crammed a month's worth of activities into one week. BIG changes are happening. BIG events are occurring.

I'll try to keep this short and sweet and give more details as it all unfolds but in the last week, we have-
  • Found a house that we are certain fits our families needs. We did a random drive-by after being sent the listing from a real estate agent. We didn't think much of the on-line listing but really liked the house when we drove by.
  • Put an offer in on the house. Currently in negotiation.

  • Literally worked my finger's to the bone staging and prepping our house to hit the market in less than a week. We called our listing agent on a Friday and the house was up and ready for showing on the following Wednesday. Have never worked so hard.
  • While staging the house, we packed and prepped for a 7 hour family road trip to western Pennsylvania for a regional Rotax race. I slept in a Wal-Mart parking lot in an RV one night. We woke to discover we were blocking the Amish hitching post at Wally World.
  • I also attempted to keep up with all the "mom duties" I perform--
Oliver at the dentist.

Chloe at her gymnastics "Olympics".

  • Drove back 7 hours from western PA. Got home at 4 a.m. after race. Kids slept the entire way home. Matt did the majority of the driving. SO, SO TIRED!!

  • Our adoption is going to be featured on The Ca*ke Bo#ss. We are ironing out the details.
  • Hoping to travel to China soon so we can bring Emma Claire back to a house (don't know which one yet).

Life is never boring at our house. It's full speed ahead.
